20 X 10'' original oil painting on 1.5'' deep stretcher bars, unframed, sides painted black. This piece is the second iteration of My Sister Subconscious - I made 6 over a ten year span developing the painting. I am exploring the space where the conscious mind meets the subconscious - a theme in a lot of my work. The forward blind eye is the conscious mind, the seeing rear eye the subconscious. This painting started as a strange abstract creature in the woods and developed significantly over its iterations.
